Default closing up wingtips

The wingtips are open on the endboard side near the trailing edge. The wingtip rib does not completely cover that area (doesn't extend all the way back to the very tip, and also has a big lightening hole in it). I'm wondering about water pooling in there. I could drill a small drainhole. I'm also wondering about slapping a bunch of filler around the rib and extending back to close this off completely.
Any thoughts? What have others done about this?

Because of the dihedral, this should give you sufficient drain. If you fill this gap, you will trap water.

Good point. I'll just leave it as-is.
