Default union on primer lines

For my longest run of engine primer line, I am thinking of inserting an AN821 elbow at one point to break the line into two sections (one running across the firewall from one side to the other, and the other section then running out from the far side to the cylinder). My thinking is that this will make installation and maintenance easier. My only hesitation is that this extra union will introduce an additional point of failure, and potential point for a fuel leak in the engine compartment. Thoughts?

yep, but you could mount the union in an adel clamp and make that a support point.

Thanks Normal, that sounds like an excellent idea. That's what I'll do.
Is there a good way to test my fuel primer lines to be sure my connectinos are leak-proof, before hooking them up to the engine?

Default Nice but

Personally I would avoid copper due to potential work hardening.

What is the part number of that T in the photo? I bought what I thought were correct from AS but now I'm thinking mine are too big.

As for the copper line, I was going to get some from the local hardware store. So, we're talking 1/8" OD with these?
