Default EGT Temp's

Hi All
Since I just installed a new set of E-Mags on my RV4 I have a queston.
Is it possible to adjust the EGT temps between the cylinders by changing the spark plug heat range?

Default No

At least i highly doubt it..But I'm sure someone who has actually done it will chime in.

The SPlug simply lights the fire..the heat (that primarily affects the EGT) comes from burning the gas. So in theory the heat that the SP makes is tiny.

Sounds like you have a bigger question though Dayton?..Why do you think your EGT's are too high?

If you set the timing correctly and your running rich enough (I think you are carbed) to be 200F ROP or so than you should be just fine.

What gives??

P.e How is Hailey doing at OSU?..My Wife was asking about her the other day.
