Default Wing root fairings

Hi guys,

I'm getting ready to begin work on my wing root fairings and plan on using plain metal stips instead of the fiberglass versions supplied with the kit. Gus at Vans says this is no problem and pointed me toward the parts for the RV6. At 17 bucks each plus shipping I thought I might be able to do better locally. Can somebody tell me what alloy and thickness these parts are? Thanks.

for the 7 they're pretty darn long. .025 or .032. FWIW

(I'm looking at them up on the shelf) sorry lost my mic 3 mos ago here in the shop and it hasn't surfaced. feels like .025.

Default Wing root fairings for -7

I've finished trimming mine, final drilled, and dimpled. They're .025" and about an inch shy of six feet long.
