Default radial/dme fix in Gx30?

Other than creating a user waypoint, is there a way to enter a radial/dme fix into the flight plan in a Gx30?

For example, say I wanted to go to the ABC 090 radial for 50 nm (ABC090050)...how would I do that in a Gx30? I read about how to create a user waypoint using a reference waypoint, radial, and distance, but it seems to be a two-step process.

I ask because if you run a DUATS GPS direct flight plan, it gives you points along a direct route to back up the gps/provide situational awareness. For example, this is from K50 to BLV: EMP150033 BUM150018 SHY360012 VIH360011 FTZ180016 CSX180016. It's a direct line, but give you some SA on where you are along the way.

Thanks in advance!
