SkyCharts: X-plane 'plugin'
I didn't see a Sim Pilot section ? Please move this if in the wrong group!
In any case I'm proud to announce SkyCharts 1.4.3
If the WX sux you can now use X-Plane in conjunction with SkyCharts to do your flight planning and see what things look like on a sectional map!
With the right configuration X-Plane will drive the position of SkyCharts.
Setup is simple:
http://www.skycharts.net/?page_id=228
While simming, use SkyCharts as a moving map, AF/D and plate lookup.
The future 1.4.3.1 will let you call the ASOS/AWOS as well.

That's really cool, for those of you who have not tried X-plane, you're missing out on a great sim by the way.

Glad you like it!
If you have any suggestions for both real world usage and for use in X-Plane please post them here or on my forum.

Sorry, no..
Time permitting I'll port to Blackberry, Android and possibly Windows.
And windows already has many aviation products already so I may not even get to it...

I'm assuming you have plans to port Skycharts to the new iPad?
edit: nevermind...just saw your blog post on your site!

Plug
I've been using SkyCharts for a few months now and think it's a great piece of software. Thanks for the cool upgrade.

I just checked out SkyCharts for the first time on the iPhone. That is going to be totally cool on the iPad.
