Default 430W to Trutrak Autopilot and ADI

Quick question for the avionics wizards. Does one need ground speed for 430W to transmit track data to ADI? Serial 1 is outputing Aviation and autopilot is getting it but ADI is displaying ---
Any ideas????

Default I believe it does...

Have had issues testing GPSS on a WAAS equipped aircraft before. Long story, but we could not ground test due to no track. Once moving it worked.

Go push it around the block and see if it works
