Default Van's (rivet) static system.

Mickey Mouse as it may be, literally thousands of RVs have been flying successfully with it for many years. Mine has been flying for 16 years. Never had a problem.

Default static ports

3 RV8's with this system, using Dynon equipment, 3 identical airspeeds when flying formation and verified accurate using triangular GPS runs.

Default

Just to back up Mel, the Van's method also worked for all my previous airplanes. You can't go wrong with either one.
