Default Alternator Belt tension adjustment
Can seem to find any info on how to install/tension the alt belt. Does anyone have any insight/tips?

I believe the correct tension is reached when it takes 12 ft/lbs. of torque to spin the alternator pulley while holding the prop.

Adjust the tension arm so that 11?13 ft-lb (new alternator belt), or 7?9 ft-lb (used alternator belt) of torque on the alternator pulley is required to slip the pulley on the alternator belt (from Lycoming SI 1129A Accessory Drive Belt Tension).
