Elevator trim tab

So I was working on my elevator trim tabs today and bent the edges over. My second one is right on, but my first one the bends are close to the cut out, not the edge of the trim. My question is do I:

A: get a new trim tab for the one that is bent to close
B: build on
C: build on, but trim the edges that over hang the bend now.
