Default Tip: Leak testing tanks

I have seen many write ups on leak testing tanks and leaks coming from the fuel cap area. Most use duct tape to tape over the cap to prevent leaks from this area and some have wrapped the cap in a rubber glove. Given my luck with duct tape and wanting to make sure the tanks didn't leak, I went to the local auto parts store and bought a 2" rubber expansion plug commonly known as a freeze plug. Fits the flange on the tank perfectly and will not leak period! Yea, it costs a little more than a couple of strips of duct tape, but what's $3.00 to insure leak free tanks!
