Default Trim Tab Alignment with Elevator

I'm wrapping up completion of the empennage, and I have a quick question about aligning the trim tab to the elevator. My trim tab aligns perfectly straight on the trailing edge, as well as the side.

However, there is a small gap when I clamp a piece of angle to the trim tab and the elevator. See below.

(Note - Elevator is on the left, Trim Tab is on the Right)

I'm not sure why it is doing this as it almost appears that the elevator trailing edge is bent down slightly.

Is this something I need to worry about? And if it is, any suggestions as to how to best correct this?

Thanks,
Jason

The only people who see it will be the people you point it out to.

Now that it has been on the internet, EVERYBODY knows!!

Once you get all the small parts into one big part, even you will not notice this. It will also not cause any problems with how the airplane flies.

Build on sir.

Normally, after landing, the trim tab will be in the nose up trim direction (tab trailing edge down). It won't be lined up with the elevator trailing edge. So, as long as you don't make a practice of putting the tab in neutral, and clamping a straight edge to it, no one will notice.

This is not an issue. Build on.
