Default Spark Plugs in (I)O-360-B1B

Can anyone advise which plugs are suitable for an (I)O-360-B1B - parallel valve, injected, regular sump, regular compression pistons? I'm struggling to find the required grade - are REM-40Es suitable?

Thanks, Pete

Yeah, those are good probably. If your caps on your harness use a 3/4" wrench. If it takes a 7/8" wrench (probably not) you need RHM type.

Thanks for the link, excellent reference. I know the caps are the correct size (E), but I have read of people using -38Es instead of -40Es. The Champion book says lower numbers are cooler (and also lists both plugs for several O-360s). Now all I need to know is what gives on spark plug heat, does 2 points make much difference?

If you typically cruise all out with mostly full throttle go with the 38s. If you are more prone to do economy cruise at 60-65% power then use the 40s.
