Default Carb to sump Torque Value??

Anyone know the torque value for mounting a MA-4-5 to a 0-360 sump ?

I have been searching and I can not find it.

Got to love the service at Mattituck. 204 inch lbs or 17 foot lbs.

A email to mahlon and 5 minutes later the answer.

On "How It's Made" it looks like the guy in the factory used the GOOD'N'TIGHT method to torque these

Yeah, it's pretty much impossible to get a torque wrench on those unless you have a high dollar snap-on job with the interchangeable heads. (I have one, but only a couple of the heads for torquing props... $40+ a head). I just torque them until they are 'tight'. By this time in the build you should have a decent feel for tight enough. Make sure you put in the lock washers!

I had mounted them before but I forget what the torque was. Pulled the carb to get the floats changed. Sent it to Volare. They turned it around in 4 days.
