Default Garmin GTX327 tray connector question

All,

I noticed there are two connector options for the rear of the mounting tray for the Garmin GTX327. One of the connectors is a standard BNC and the other requires soldering and an 50 ohm bushing. My question is if I go with the BNC connector do I need to consider something similar to what the 50 ohm bushing is accomplishing?

Thank you.
