Default F-697 Channel

On the F-697 Channel used on the rv-7 tip-up (canopy release mechanism area), what drawing shows the needed angled trim on the top of the channel? The referenced Dwg 47 sure doesn't seem to show it.

Thanks

Jerry,

I built a 9 but I believe all the parts are the same. I don't recall seeing a callout on the angle - I just cut mine to fit, which was about 45 degrees IIRC. You will probably modify this area a bit anyway to get all the parts to fit easily.

Jerry,

On the top of that page or the other one that shows that I also was
looking and if you hold the plans just right you can see that there
is a 45* on the 697. I also found out that if you cut the 45 it will help
but I had to trim mine to 87.25* (JUST KIDDING). I did just trim to fit
after the release was catching on that. You will also find that you will
have to trim the hole 1/2 x 1 inch a little bit too.

Keep pounding those rivets.
