Default Van's Air Box service letter

For those thinking about the most recent Van's service letter about the airbox: I happened to have the cowl off and took a look at the FAB door/ carburator. Some time in the last 25 hours, the two rivets holding the magnet in place had worked loose, and the magnet was stuck to the door, and the rivets/ aluminum holder piece had disappeared out of the cowl. I'm thankful they went down and not up!

Here's a shot of the carburator, where the flapper was vibrating against the venturi. I encourage everyone with the FAB door to check this out ASAP.
