Default Grounding

Hi everyone,

"Bob",in the Aero Electric Connection says you should run all your grounds to a groundblock which is connected to the neg- side of the battery, ok but what if the battery is the back as it is in my -8,,, do you run all the wires to the back or can I run a #8 wire from battery to the firewall and add a grounding block there and connect the grounds.

Thanks
Adam S.

Yes, you could do that. My 6A has a ground block up front, close to the battery, and then a #8 (as I remember) running from the firewall grounding area on down to another junction box with grounding lugs under the seats. This ground also ties to each side of the wing, where a few lights are grounded to the wing structure.
