Default Problem with GS on Garmin WAAS

My airport manager just received a letter from Garmin (I think the ink was still wet). On airports with 3 letter identifiers (eg: my home airport is M16), the glideslope does not work in Garmin WAAS units. Garmin is working on this but you currently do not have a working glideslope for 3 letter airports on panel mount WAAS Garmins.

Too early for April Fool's Day and I saw the letter.

In other words - plan accordingly.....have a nice day ,')

This is Service Advisory #0825, dated 22 July 2008. It can be viewed on Garmin's web site.

The letter came after many folks could not figure out what was going on at our airport and Garmin was contacted. I didn't realize how old this was. Perhaps it will help someone out there anyway.

Any ideal when they will have corrected?

From Garmin today:

This will be corrected in the next software upgrade - due out within a month.
