Default 430W ARINC and CDI

G'day Everyone,

I have a small configuration issue with my Garmin 430W. I have it connected to a certified Garmin CDI as well as an AFS 3500 EFIS, with the ARINC module.

As I have a CDI with dedicated OBS knob and display, I would prefer to use this for the GPS and VOR functions within the Garmin 430W. i.e. I would like the AFS 3500 to "listen" to the settings on the CDI and display them accordingly. At present the ARINC overrides the OBS on the CDI in GPS mode.

Is there a way to have the 430W ignore the ARINC signal for the OBS setting and refer to the CDI?

Thanks
Richard

Default Wait until the new software from AFS arrives.

Check their website, several comments regarding the new software due shortly. Should give you the flexibility you are needing.
