Default Saving money on insurance with cross wind training

I spent a little time strapped into the seat on a cross wind simulator today and really found it educational. It does about everything an airplane would do, although the reactions are much more like a 172 than an RV. In this case that might even be a good thing, considering how many people train in them. This one was at the headquarters of Xwind in Indianapolis, although there are several throughout the US and one in Germany. Get two hours training in one and save 5% on Avemco insurance. You can check the simulator out at xwindsim.com I have no affiliation with the company but I think it could be very worthwhile for many of us. Ten minutes gave me more crosswind practice than I have had in the last 100 hours of RV time.

I'm fortunate - my local airport is placed poorly. Most afternoons I have crosswind practice whether I want it or not...
