Tank leak repair

My tanks leak around the inboard/leading-edge fitting. I pulled the tank that leaks worse yesterday. I felt around in there and it could use extra goop. An old-hand said to use MeK thinned proseal to ensure it penetrates. Any other "words to wise" I should know about now while I have the tank open?

MEK will 'work' (I've used it) but I think that Flamemaster says to use toulene. Here's the Flamemaster web site; find the data sheet for the sealant you're using & it will tell you the recommended sealant.

edit: If it's the seam between the skin & rib, I'd clean it up, rough it up, clean again & just apply the sealant. Thinning should only be needed if you're trying to suck it into a leaking rivet.
