Default What is an F-7101 (Web Gear Attach)

I am doing my inventory and for the life of me, I cannot locate it. I have searched fairly thoroughly but perhaps having an idea what it may look like would be a help.

Could someone give me the approximate size/shape of the part, what plan number it is on or better yet, a picture of what to look for!

HELP!!!

CJ

I don't know about the RV-7 but on the RV-6 part number F-6101 is a tri-gear part only. It is a vertical gusset on the side of the fuselage about where your calves would be. The gussets are smaller for the tailwheel model.

Look on plan # 34(A). At least you will know what to look for. It's a sizable piece of sheet metal. There are L&R pieces.

Got it folks!

Thanks!

All present and accounted for! I need to contact Van's regarding a ding in the side skin and a couple of bad welds. The welder had the machine set too hot and... well, I will show you the pics.

Thanks again!
