Default Models

Who makes the small custom wooden models of the Van's RV's.

I've seen reference to them on the site before but can't find them in search link.

Anybody know or remember?

Thanks

Ted

I ordered mine at Oshkosh earlier this year. I'm getting one with a clear canopy with the interior duplicated as well. They said it would be about a year to get it. Should be realy nice, though. I don't think I ordered from this particular place. My order went through "Gift of Wings". Their stores are located in the Milwaukee, WI area, but I believe the models may be made elsewhere, possibly outside the USA. They did have the clear canopy option, that I really liked.

I bought a mahogany model at the aircraft maintenance show in ATL a year ago, and the same vendor was at the Great Georga Airshow this fall. The cost was only about $60.00 and it looks quite nice. Actually, I bought an A-10 for a friend and another and I got three for the price of two. I believe they are carved in the Philippines.

Hard to beat for the price.
