Default Prop Size?

Based on the comments I read on some other threads it would be nice to see a listing of what props are used on each RV type and engine along with the speeds experienced. This will help others select a prop that is appropriate for their expected flight profile.

Please save comments regarding the number of blades, FP vs. CS, wood vs. aluminum vs. composite for other threads.

Since each engine & airframe is different, expect to see some variation between them, no flames please.

Please include the following:

RV Model: RV-9
Engine: Lycoming O-290-D2
HP/RPM: 135 @ 2600
Prop Make: Catto
Number of Blades: 2
Prop Type: Fixed Pitch
Prop Material: Wood
Prop Size: 68" Diameter x 64" Pitch
Top speed: 180 MPH @ 2800 RPM (Estimated by Craig Catto)
75% Cruise @ 8000': 175 (Estimated by Craig Catto)
Max Climb: Unknown
