Default Part???

In taking inventory tonight for my 7 emp.. I had a part with no label. It is about 1/4 or so thick plate about 4x8 inches....many holes in it from one corner to the other...and 4 or 5 other holes in a line next to each other...

any one know what it is?

Is it a diagonal line of holes, from one corner to another? That is a bolt length gauge that Van's provides (freeof charge!)- there should be a sheet of paper that tells you how to use it.
