There's just something romantic about a runway. This one in my backyard, just cought my eye as a good candidate for a desktop picture. Thought I'd share it.

In a nutshell, that is exactly the weather here today and me wandering out to the runway to reminisce for an icy moment, warmer days. No Waco was ever brought to mind though. =)

ps, loved the outside loop. Not something you see very often, had to play it back to really look at it.

Yeh, we just got 10" of wet and more coming, plus winds. And, wouldn't you know, I just got the clearance from my insurance to fly my own plane.
