how to remove tire from wheel

Sorry if this question has been asked before, but my search turned up nothing. Anyway, I just got the new Grove nose wheel and I am trying to change the tire over, but I can't get the tire off the old wheel. Any ideas, or do I take it to a motorcycle shop?
