Default Attitude IndicatorDegree Tilt

I'm trying to determine what degree of tilt attitude indicator I should buy for my RV9. I've been told to measure the angle across the main longerons when on the wheels but am seeking other input. Thanks in advance.

I believe the instrument panel angle is supposed to be 8 degrees.
Actually mine measures about 7.5.

Thanks for the reply Mel. Should I measure using a reference across the instrument panel then with the weight on the wheels? Thanks again.

Most mechanical attitude indicators will be sold as 0 or 8 degree. The 8 degree will be close enough.

Thanks for the input. I'll go with an 8 degree unit.
