1/8" EGT Probe in a 3/16" Hole

I am removing an E.I. manual EGT/CHT system from my -8 and replacing with a Dynon EMS D-120 system. The E.I. probes are 3/16", the Dynon probes supplied in the kit are 1/8" probes. Other than welding up the pipes and re-drilling is there any other solution? I could leave the EI probes in but since I'm putting in a new system I'd prefer to have new probes too. As I recall the probe holes need to be a snug fit with the probe. Thanks
