Default 496 Dumps data

I've noticed that my 496 will occasionally dump the airspace date. I must be missing something but every once in a while after I jump out to 50 miles or longer range all the airspace annotations will not reappear. All the airport C and D circles, Class B, MOA's just gone and will not come back unless I power off and restart. I have cycled off the wx annimation thinking this may be it.

I must be missing something but I can't figure it out.

Anybody else as slow as me out there and have this happen.

Jerry,

If you hit the "Enter" button, it cycles through the removal of airspace, airports, etc. (I can't recall the actual sequence.)

It happened to me when I first got the 496 and couldn't figure out what happened to all the airspace rings so don't feel bad, you are not alone.

Sounds like the "declutter" function. It has four steps IIRC, and cycles through them back to no-declutter.

You activeate the declutter by pressing the "Enter" key.

Default Thanks

I knew with the wealth of information out there somebody would know what I was doing wrong. I've decluttered on purpose before but didn't remember that just hitting ENTER would do it.
