Default Odyssey PC680

Folks,
Any one from cold country have any comments on this battery? (Odyssey PC680)
I see some car people have not had very good luck with this battery when it gets cold.

I've had one of these in my 6A for 3 years now up in Canada, no problems but I keep the aircraft hangared at about 50F most of the time. I have a Subaru engine running 15W50 Mobil 1 oil and a Denso starter. I'm using another one in my RV10 under construction now. 10 lbs. lighter than a conventional battery and it seems to work the same so far.

I have the PC625 in my -8 with an IO-360-A3B6D, and I have never had any problems starting with it. And it gets COLD here in Ottawa, Ontario ;-) Anytime the temperatures are going to be below freezing, I plug the sump heater in. But I have had no problem starting when the outside temps are -15C (5F).

Cheers

I have that battery in my 7A with an 0-360. I hangar, but unheated. Never had any problems and the battery is going on two years. Seems to be a Great battery and nice and small and light. And no venting required.
