Relay Needed?

Do I need a relay for use with the Infinity Stick If I want the toggle switch to be a flap switch? If so which relay do I buy?
I have a relay from Ray Allen for the Hat switch to control the Elevator trim. Does Ray Allen sell one that will work for flaps?

If you wire it the old fashion way, you should install a relay. If you wire with Vertical Power you do not need a relay.

Rene' - are those solid state or simply micro relays?

I know there are now solid state relays, and would ideally like to use exclusively solid state when practical for reliability's sake. However, Googling "Solid State Relay" brings back such a dizzying array of confusing solutions that I have no good idea what might be practical.
