Question Torque for nut on large bearing.

*** I find the lack of comment to this question interesting, not even a TC answer! ***

I am not sure what torque value is needed there. On the RV-8 the control column hangs on two 3616 bearings. There is a jam nut on the bottom and a AN6 lock nut on top. My question is what torque value if any do I use in this instance. For a 3/8-20 nut it looks like 160-190 in lbs. This seems like a lot but then a jam nut would be less no? Any experts have any advice. This little nuggets the AC43 does not address clearly, so I am leaning on you on this forum that have more experience than I do.

Thanks
