crating questions

I sold myproject finally. I'll be shipping my completed tail to Wisconsin and my assembled wing structure and parts to Mississippi from NY. Are there any sites or threads or anyone with experience crating completed parts for shipping. Thanks in advance, Jack

Check your local yellowpages etc. for a commercial packaging and crating facility. They can build crates to size and package for ship if you want them to. Not cheap either way.

I've used ones in my local area for Mil spec packaging for my business and they make they crates to the specific size requirements.

Thanks for your response Ted, however I was looking for some ideas on crating the kits myself. I am in construction and have all the tools and materials to do it. I thought someone must have experience with this or know about a site or thread showing what others have done. Thanks Jack Schurr
