Default Ignition Wire Baffle Pass Through?

Many Lycoming installations use a 2 wire plastic pass through device for the upper cylinder ignition wires, I've seen them and used them in the past but they seem to be no where to be found these days.

I have looked at ACS, Wicks, Chief, and every page of the Van's catalog, no one has them. What's the deal? Does anyone have a source for this device?

Thanks in advance.

ACS has them...Aero InStock has them as well....

Thanks for Aero tip....I knew about the ACS units, they come from Lightspeed and are for 5mm wire (.196). The Slick wires are .25.

Default BINGO

I called Unison-Slick service (they have not yet moved to the new owner) and got the straight skinny on the bulkhead pass through.

It is made by Slick and the part number is M2375. It is a 2 part device with a pass through hole just large enough to get the ignition wire end nut through. It comes with 2 (.25) wire holes for the 4 cylinder or 3 wire holes for the 6 cylinder.

The Van's baffle kit instructions say these devices come with the engine, but I guess they don't anymore as my engine did not have them and BPE said the engines do not come through with them these days.

AERO has them in stock.

Default Baffle

David,
My ignition harness came with a bunch, 1 - 2 - 3 hole versions, as well as the high heat adel clamps, attaching hardware, zip ties, etc. One whole bag of 'stuff', see here http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalo...iteHarness.php
If your BPE engine has an aero-lite harness you may want to give them another call - it may have been accidentally left out. A friend recently got a BPE engine with Bendix mags and they left the P-lead ground kit out when it was shipped - $114 for the two kits from 'spruce'. BPE's great service sent him the two needed kits. Their service sold me-my next engine will be BPE.

...with the ignition harness, along with the "square" adel type clamps for holding multiple ignition wires....

The bulkhead pass thoughs were in the hardware bag shipped with my new OEM engine and Lycoming tells me the items continue to be included.
