Default Need manifold pressure data

I have an RV 7, IO-360. cold air induction, one Lightspeed and a Harzell BA prop. On a ground static test to 2600 RPM, I see 23.9 " on the manifold gage, both manual and AFS 3500 digital. All fittings have been checked for leaks. The manual gage was teed into the system @ the engine. Doesn't seem high enough. Airport altitude is 700". What are you seeing and any suggestions or comments would be appreciated. I am already talking with Mattituck.

Thanks,
David

David,

What's it reading when shut down? Should be altimeter setting - 1" per 1000 ft... (so just subtract 0.7 from current alt. setting in your case).. if it's wrong then.. I wouldn't expect it to get better when engine's running..

Default It is what you would expect.

Radomir, it reads atmospheric less the altitude adjustment.

Default MP

At full wide open throttle at 700 above msl, you should be seeing about 28-29 inches. I'm just guessing that you're not at full throttle.?????????
