Default Stobe Lighting options

I am wondering as I see alot of "non" aviation strobe power supplies in pics posted online who has experience with these packs and how well they work, is there any problem with getting ok'd for night flight with a stobe that flashes more then chapter 23 calls for. 60-100 flashes per min. I love the idea that I can use a diffrent "non-pma-faa" ect lighting power supply as they look to be cheaper and the replacement lights are cheaper than aviation units. Anyway any popular brands? models? where to buy? www.strobes.com?

The SuperPak 806 or 906 are what you're looking for. Either one will easily power 3 strobes and you can choose between many flash patterns.

For tubes, the Nova Clear Hide-a-Flash makes up the rest of the system.

Looks like they might be a nav light option in the steady on config.
