Default Flap clearance?

Can anyone tell me how much clearance I should leave between the edge of the top skin on the flap and the side of the fuselage? I can't find a hard number in the manual.

btw. If I search VAF for "flap clearance", I get results for "flap or clearance". Anyone know how to search for "flap clearance" or "flap and clearance"?

Clear skies,

1/8" and deburr it really well before painting. A nice rounded edge will hold paint better, and not be so proned to chipping.

Default How to Search VAF More Effectively

I asked this very question about how to search VAF forums more effectively:
http://www.vansairforce.com/communit...ad.php?t=29227

I know Doug was going to work on improving the search feature some more, but I think this is as far as it went:
http://www.vansairforce.net/searchtest.htm

This works, or you can search Google with the following:
http://www.vansairforce.com/community/ "flap clearance"
This works too. Good Luck.
