pre-1st flt air data validation

looking for ideas

DAR was out for initial visit last week. one of my homework questions on which I am to follow up has to do with the transponder and air data. we are under class C airspace. there are no shops here that perform air data checks or transponder checks (unless you have a jet). and to add to the level of intrigue, the DAR didn't seem thrilled at the non-tso dynon. anyone have a work-around to satisfy the inspector?
