Default Airmap 1000 vs 2000C: Physical dimensions

All,

I have a Lowrance Airmap 1000 panel mounted in my aircraft. I'd like to upgrade to the 2000C. It would be particularly attractive if this is simply a 'plug 'n play' replacement.

1. Does anyone know whether their physical dimensions are the same?
2. Do they use the same antennae and accessories (e.g. mounting brackets)

Also, if this goes ahead, any suggestions where I can get a good price (taking into account that I'll need to Pacific aviation database needed for New Zealand)

Any input appreciated.

Default easy change

They are identical in outside dimension. The color screen is a few MM smaller. I switched out my 1000 for a 2000 and just plugged it in. Same mount, acc, and cables. Took 45 seconds...
