Default fuel-pump/engine mount interference

the platenuts that hold the fuel pump to the firewall are interfering with my engine mount. I put those platenuts and the fuel pump doubler plate according to plans. I think my plan wil be to move the whole fuel pump doubler plate up 3/4". Of course this will leave extra holes in my firewall. Has anybody else encountered this problem (side by side seating A model)?
