Default mold release

Will vasoline work as a mold release for epoxy? What about marine polish?

Default Release

Make sure any wax you use is specifically for that. Virtually all commercial car, marine, and floor waxes contain silicone.

I usually brush on a couple of coats of PVA. Works good ans washes off

Just use clear packing tape. Worked great for me.

I've also heard that wax paper works well...
