Question Questions on plumbing an "IO" 320 with PAM 5VA

I took advantage of Van's deal with Lyc to get an "IO" with PAM injector.
Now I'm trying to figure out how to get it all plumbed up, and would appreciate info and recommendations.

- Fuel pump vent line - is this the "tell tale" as in oops there is a problem, and just need to route this overboard away from the exhaust? or does this go back to suction side of elec pump,..or.??? what are recommended fittings, plumbing, etc. (and any special source reqd/recommended)

- nozzle pressure gage - just blank/cap it off or use as connection for fuel pressure? what are recommended fittings, plumbing, etc.????(and any special source reqd/recommended)

thanks in advance...

Default Plumbing

The mechanical fuel pump "vent" line is there in case the diaphram inside the pump fails and dumps fuel to the wrong side of the system. It sends that fuel overboard instead of into the crankcase oil! That needs to be vented away from the hot exhaust.

I'm not familiar with the PAM injection system. The connection you're talking about probably doesn't measure the fuel pressure from the pump. I suspect that it is measuring the fuel pressure being sent to the spray nozzles. In that case, it is used by some instruments to approximate fuel flow. If you plan on using the latest line of EFIS systems, they use a different type of fuel flow pickup and that connection can be capped. Just guessing, don't take this as gospel.

As for connections, study the catalogs and any documentation that came with the engine to determine what is correct. Maybe someone more familiar with this system can chime in.
