Default More spar countersinking questions (answer found)

I have been putting off countersinking the holes in the spars where the inspection plates go because it concerns me how close to the edge the cs will be. If I use the dimension recommended here, the edge of the cs will be extremely close (hopefully not cutting into) the edge of the spar. That can't be good. If I go around .280 it only leaves around .035 to the edge of the spar and a #6 test dimple will not sit flat in the counter sunk hole. Is it ok that it is that close to the edge? I can use .300 for the counter sunk hole and the test dimple fits reasonably well, but then I only have .025 to the edge of the spar. I am just paranoid about the cs running off the edge. Should I just shut up and go to it? Rear spars are done, ribs are done, ready to start putting this sucker together, I need to move on!

Edit: Well after spending a couple of hours cruising other builder sites, I found I worry for nothing. Every one I found looks just like mine will look.
Build on!
