Default Spinner polishing

Today a new spinner from Sensenich arrived. It is really nice but begs to be polished. Does anyone know a person or company the could polich this to a mirror finish? This is what it looks like: http://www.mykitlog.com/users/displa...og=62188&row=1

Also, I now have a spare Vans spinner I would like to sell. It is the new 13" that come in the finishing kit. Just got it a month ago. I think he sells them for $160, I'm thinking a $125 plus shipping. Drop me a line if you are interested. Carl

Default You Can Do It!

My first plane was a Bellanca Super Viking (IMHO the best production plane ever built). I polished the spinner and prop myself, and once I sorted out the best methods and products, it was not that difficult or time consuming.
Start with 1000 grit wet/dry and work your way to the polishing compunds. I did not have a polishing machine, but did use a buffer.
Good luck, and I bet your spiner will look great on your RV!
