Default Simple (I hope) Baffle Question

My aft rear baffle slightly touches the rubber on the dynafocal mount, left side. Bend it, relieve it, relieve the rubber a little, or let it rub? If the baffle is relieved, might be a little hard to seal with red permatex..any thoughts from anyone? Thanks in advance..

Default cut and trim

Durn, thats the best advise I ever heard. Thats what they make goop for, filling in the cracks left by trimming...

NOT AT ALL. As they say you don't want anything shaking to touch any thing else unless you can help it.

Think about the engine shaking like a wet dog trying to get dry.

The soft seals, airbox to cowl, control cables, hoses and wires all make some transition from engine to not moving structure (cowl, engine mount, fire wall).

You really want to minimize any contact vibration has with the airframe. So some service loop or play is important. What ever you do you don't want something sold on the engine touching some thing sold that is fixed structure.

Also the baffle could cut into the engine mount rubber. Rubber is critical so keep it clean and oil and gas off them by all means.
