Flying your RV to Reno from the South?
I've been thinking about flying to Reno on Friday, from Georgia. Anyone else from down South contemplating this as well? Done it before? I figure 12 hours or so but weather may not cooperate.
Regards,

Pierre, I've made the trip from Olney, TX to Reno a few times in Air Tractors, but never in an RV! We always go non-stop, and we usually make it in about 8 hours. You'll fly over some really amazing scenery on the way there (Monument Valley, Grand Canyon, etc.)
Have fun!

After Reno, you are welcome to fly 'south' about 2 hours to L00 to visit/overnight before heading east Pierre Rosie

Devin, Felix and Rosie...
......thanks a lot for the offers and kind words but more and more spray work is coming in so it doesn't look like it'll happen this year. I have another pilot lined up for next year and do more early organizing as well.
Thanks again,

This weather sucks! I'm on day 2 of my trip to the west coast and I'm now stuck in Seminole, TX... looks like tomorrow will be better.. if you have plenty of time, it's a fun trip to make.. At least, FBO folks are really nice and helpful whereever you go...
