Default Powersport RV-8

Anybody have any info on Jim's accident, other than the prelim report?

Default PowerSport RV-8 F/L

Since I monitor the fly rotary list they are in touch with most of the rotary parts suppliers. One of the Flyrotary people was in contact with Powersport about an exhaust system, and was told that Jim Clark the planes owner told them that he had a total ELECTRICAL failure. lost flaps, fuel pumps, avonics, in short everything. I don't know if he had a redundant battery and switching system. So far that is all we know. I hope Jim and passenger will be ok. This reminds us to be sure to check ALL your systems carefully.
