Default flap rod too short.

I purchased the 3.5" flap push rod for my 6 and it is one inch too short. Has anyone else had this problem?

Default Rod length, Is it everthing?

I found on my 6 that 3.5 inches was too long. (manual flaps) I found that 2 7/8 was about right, both sides. Maybe the angle on your weldment is wrong. I bought few feet of hex rod and made my own.
